Tooling, Fueling & Equipping for Youth Ministry
August 4-5, 2017
Join us in a weekend of fresh ideas and approaches to launching, building and establishing effective youth ministry in the local church.
Youth Ministry may be your calling, but it’s not easy. Culture is changing-fast.
You seldom have the time or funding to do all that’s in your heart to do.
You love young people & want to see them grow in their faith.
This event will give you the juice, the vision, the strategies not just to keep
going but to see your youth ministry accelerate to the next level. It’s a
gear-shifting moment that will propel you to new levels of impact and
effectiveness with young people.
This weekend is designed for staff youth ministers, adult volunteers,
college and high school students engaged in youth ministry.
We welcome The Rev. Canon Terry Reisner /Canon for Youth Ministry
in The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas as our keynote speaker. Terry’s passion
for Jesus began growing up in parish children’s and youth ministry. He
has served in full time ministry as a youth pastor for more than 13 years,
ministering in congregations in Arizona, Florida, and Texas, leading youth
programs ranging from under 10 to 200+.
Come prepared to receive strategies to:
• Get connected & make a difference in schools & the community
• Help kids on the fence become passionate disciples
• Keep the “fun” without sacrificing the “effectiveness”
• Handling the tough issues of life in a sometimes toxic & hostile culture
• How to build an effective youth ministry team
• Learn best-practices that are working in other churches
