Planning a church or corporate event means more than just finding a hotel that’s large enough to handle all your guests, it means finding a facility that can provide you with a memorable experience that breaks free of the cookie cutter experience of the chain hotels. It means finding a place where you can enjoy excellent food and still have it catered to your participants’ dietary needs.
You want a conference experience with more than just meeting rooms, the latest AV equipment, and excellent chefs and kitchen staff. You also want one in a beautiful, peaceful setting that lets you focus on your agenda and purpose and not get sidetracked by outside distractions or dealing with the typical conference headaches.
Canterbury Conference Center is located just outside Orlando, in Oviedo, Florida, far enough away to give you some peace and seclusion, but still close enough to enjoy all its amenities and attractions.

The Canterbury meeting experience
We have a few buildings throughout the Canterbury retreat, and at its heart is the Canterbury Conference Center. Overlooking Lake Gem, the Conference Center holds three conference rooms, St. Paul, Winchester, and Bishop Boardroom.
The Conference Center is also the home to our large dining hall, where our guests are treated to delicious home cooking. The St. Paul dining rooms can be converted into a single space that seats 200. The Winchester Room can seat 60 people, or it can be divided into two separate rooms for smaller gatherings.
The St. Paul and both halves of Winchester have smart, large screen LED monitors that can be used during meetings or meals.
Our 300 Lodging Building is a single story building that’s just a short stroll from the Conference Center building. It holds 14 hotel-style guest rooms and the St. Alban’s Conference Room. The St. Alban’s Room seats 55 guests, has a smart, large screen LED monitor, and a beautiful view of the woods that surround us.
