From John Adams, a Canterbury Partner…

It’s all about relationship.  If you are alone in the universe, that’s pretty sad. If you are not alone, what is your relationship?

At a fundamental level Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center offers a host of opportunities to explore, to deepen, to celebrate Christian relationships.

I love the ancient liturgies, they open a door to the almighty. I am hungry to be taught, and the Lord knows I need it. These are available at Canterbury, but Jesus brought his message of redemption through the relationships he built. “Will you stay with me?” At the end, it’s what he charged his followers to do. “Love one another as I have loved you.” Build your relationships on a foundation of Christ and the Holy Spirit will build the kingdom of God.

Canterbury is a treasure that invites us into relationship. “And where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

That is why I enthusiastically give financial support to Canterbury’s mission.
