My name is Sue Grosso, and many of you may know me. I work the front office here at Canterbury. BUT you may not know that I am also a Canterbury Partner. I make a monthly donation to Canterbury because I see what this place does for people.
Canterbury is a place where folks can come and just listen… hear the Holy Spirit speak through the quiet serenity that is so difficult to find in these busy, noisy, distracted times.
This is a place where you can find prayer for whatever ails you! I have felt called to pray for a guest from time to time, and more times than not, the words I feel are given to me for one, are truly felt deeply by another. The Lord gives people what they need, where they are. His presence is felt very strongly here, many guests comment on that feeling.
I see forgiveness and love. I see development of church leadership from 18 to 80! It is my joy to watch leaders grow, returning year after year for a visit with us as part of the Canterbury family.
I see clergy from the Diocese regularly and especially once a year at Clergy Conference. We love having Diocese of Central Florida here under Bishop Brewer’s excellent leadership.
It is truly a gift to be able to work here. There are times of very hard work with long hours, details, dates, times, headcounts, meals, cleaning, preparing, and praying. There are also times of quiet. The Lord sends us seasons of labor and rest.
I am a Canterbury Partner because of all of these things – you should be too!
So true! Love that Miss Sue!
