With the New Year we have an opportunity for a new start. I have found starting something “new” can sometimes be difficult and full of questions. What do I do? What’s the first step? what will I need? Will I succeed? All of these are fair and I’ve discovered that having a plan is essential. A few years ago I heard a person say, “Start where you are; With what you got; Do what you can.” These words have been a guide to me especially in stewarding the gift of Canterbury.
Two important aspects of starting something are traction and momentum. We often need something that will allow our start to have a firm foundation where we can “grip” the surface and be propelled forward. After the traction is established you can gain momentum, build speed and energy as the cogs begin to turn and get you to where you want to be.
Part of the ministry of Canterbury is to provide people a place where they can gain both traction and momentum, in personal growth and corporately with groups seeking top accomplish their purpose and mission.
We have two events on the immediate horizon that can be just the thing to help you accomplish your goals.
