Canterbury Conference Center, is prepared to host conferences and events varying in size from groups of 200 to 15, and Canterbury Conference Center is here help you create the ideal conference experience.
We have six meeting rooms, a large dining room, with a covered dining terrace, as well as a chapel and a small oratory. With that combination of facilities, we can host numerous size events.
Locations
Choosing the right location can make a difference in creating a memorable experience for the conference participants. Hotels tend to look all the same, whether they’re next to the airport or in the heart of downtown. So, we strive to create a personal and unique experience that you typically don’t find in a major city.
Nestled on 48 wooded acres with beautiful Lake Gem as its centerpiece, Canterbury is quiet and secluded. We have meeting spaces that are ideal for plenary sessions, smaller rooms for breakouts, and spaces for conversations and relaxation. Our Conference Department is ready to assist you. And our culinary team can meet any medical dietary restrictions with advance notice.
Banquets & Large Private Events
If you’re looking for a meeting or banquet space for a corporate dinner, product launch, awards banquet, our facilities are ideal for large gatherings and meals. We can accommodate 200 guests in our largest room, St. Paul’s or 60 in the Winchester room. Both rooms can be split allowing for smaller events.
Our chef will help you create an outstanding culinary experience that fits any budget. We believe in providing meals that are appealing to any discerning guest.
Group Events
Canterbury’s reputation for serving group events is excellent, with 45 guest rooms and 6 meeting rooms varying in size, we’ve hosted multiple size group events from churches, non-profit, and corporate groups, to youth groups.
Our meeting rooms are ideal for brainstorming sessions for corporations and board meetings, to receptions, dining and dancing.
We also have a low elements ropes course that many of our groups have used team building.
Personal Retreats
In addition to conferences, Canterbury offers personal retreats. Some guests visit us as a brief sabbatical from their day-to-day lives, for meditation and quiet reflection, or just a chance to relax and get away.
